I'm pleased to provide an update on the new Business What's App Group in West Wickham. Over the past two weeks, local officers have conducted a comprehensive engagement, visiting 99.9 percent of businesses on the High Street and along Station Road. Our goal was to engage and to ensure that every establishment big or small had the opportunity to get involved. Key Highlights of the Initiative: Officers hand-delivered invitation letters to business owners, providing clear instructions on how to join a secure digital network. The initiative has been very well-received, with many businesses expressing a strong desire for closer links with their neighbours.This group chat is designed to support and empower our local workforce to stay connected, share real-time information, and network effectively. Building on a better working relationship throughout the Town Centre.For Business Use Only. To ensure the platform remains a valuable tool, membership is going to be strictly reserved for local business use.Our involvement. The West Wickham Police are acting solely as facilitators to help launch this What’s App Chat Group and ensure everyone is invited and included if they wish to be. Once established, this group will be a private forum for West Wickham’s business community, police will not be a member on this group.I would like to thank all the business owners and staff for their warm welcome over the past two weeks. |
